The Pirate Empire

The Pirate Empire

Capt. Jack A.K.A. Steven Dapcevich is the founding member and brainchild behind the hugely popular and wildly successful group… “The Pirate Empire”. In 2003, after the first Pirates of the Caribbean film debuted, Steven “threw his tri-corn hat into the ring” successfully and performs all over the U.S. and Canada as the world premiere Capt. Jack impersonator. He has since taken on many “crew members” over the past 14 years to perform alongside his Capt. Jack. Over the past five years, they have been seen in such major publications as the Pyrates Way magazine, Pirates magazine, Faerie magazine and in the “special Pirate issue” of Renaissance magazine. The performers of The Pirate Empire have also been showcased in such major book publications as “Caribbean Pirates” by George Beahm. Published by Hampton Roads. And “Pirate Fever” by Eleyne Austen-Sharp (www.piratefever.com). Steven and his crew have also been featured in many different Newspapers, like the Clearwater Citizen and dozens of radio programs across the nation such as Hot 92 – WJHT-FM out of Johnstown, PA. Hot 100 – WWOT-FM out of Altoona, PA. and WFUS 103.5 FM out of Tampa bay, FL. You may have also seen members of The Pirate Empire performing all over the country at many different Renaissance faires, Pirate festivals, Faerie festivals, Comic-cons, and Sci-fi/fanatsy conventions.
