Straight Outta Cosplay

Coming to The Great Philadelphia Comic Con 2017!
April 7th-9th, 2017 at The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA.

Corey Morgan of "Straight Outta Cosplay" was born and raised in White Plains, New York, but currently resides in MD. A graduate of Howard University in Washington DC, Corey has been cosplaying for 2 years, and has quickly gained recognition for his very accurate cosplays, to include the realistic masks that he often paints on himself. Corey's cosplays, to include Mister Terrific, The Movie and comic book versions of the Falcon, and Sam Wilson Captain America have gained him wide acclaim throughout the cosplay industry and have appeared on the cover of Cosplayzine magazine and has taken third place at the Marvel Comics Cosplay competition at the 2016 New York Comicon. Corey has not only become known for his own costumes, but often includes his family, cosplaying alongside his wife and daughters at conventions. Despite the recognition and the notoriety, the thing that Corey enjoys most about cosplaing, is interacting with children and presenting himself as a positive role model, inspiring and motivating them as much as possible. Nothing brings Corey greater fulfillment than taking time out at Comicons and other events to take pictures with, and talk to young people. In addition to comic conventions, Corey has cosplayed at various charity and community outreach events, and is available for appearances. In addition to cosplay, Corey is also a professional face and body artist and the owner of Mr. Corey's Face Painting. With 10 years of experience as a body artist, Corey has amassed a literal worldwide following for his ultra realistic comic book inspired face painting designs. Corey not only face paints at parties, fairs, festivals and other events in the DC, MD, VA area thrilling not just children, but adults as well with his artistic skills, but is also a face painting instructor with the Face and Body Art International Convention, one of the largest face and body art organizations in the world. Corey travels around the country giving seminars and workshops on face painting, and has been invited to teach his super hero face painting techniques in Europe in 2018.
